Living House In Panemune Pineforest

The site is surrounded by residence housing placed in Panemunė forest, which is on the left bank of the Nemunas river. In last 40 years area transformed from poor district near Kaunas, to one of most luxurious block of residence housing.

House combines two aesthetically different volumes with a L-shaped plan which creates intimacy of inner court and divides house in two main zones – living and sleeping.

Natural materials such as brick and timber embed it in the environment in a harmonious way.

Materials: wood, brick, clay tiles.
