DevBridge

In the former barracks of Šančiai district, the DevBridge headquarters were set up, designed by G.Natkevicius and Partners office. In the next phase of the project, it was decided to create a visual identity that would make the workspaces more fresh and lively. Designing together with customers has created a concept that embodies the programming history and stretches across all four floors of a new industrial style building.

Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk and a group of other prominent visionaries have put a lot of weight into the programming history. Their personalities and accomplishments have become the cornerstone of the new DevBridge visual identity. In the meeting rooms, stylised portraits appeared, which, using the method of optical illusion, are only visible from a particular angle in a dedicated position. Skype chat rooms are called according to their personal merit or representation of works. Mark Zuckerberg – Facebook, Satoshi Nakamoto – Blockchain, etc. Recordings are left in IBM Plex Mono font, resembling computer-based DOS systems.

Different DevBridge office floors are also provided with an individual theme. One of them is the graphic representation of a computer code created in the frame of the movie The Matrix. Another topic is the computer game Portal, where the protagonist overcomes obstacles using the portal weapon. Here portals open a window in the ceiling, that congratulates the team of another DevBridge office in Chicago. The top floor has a dominant theme – Quantum. It is a physical concept, meaning an indivisible unit of energy. Here it became a way to visualize the term of abstract natural sciences. In conclusion, the perspective of breaking the grid was created. Artist Tadas Vincaitis – Plugas was hired to implement the idea.

The DevBridge logo, which was placed on an open brick wall, behind the reception, was chosen as a representative branding object. The two-dimensional cloud formed from the motherboards of the old computer was stylised and painted gray. Illuminated letters d and b clearly communicate the company’s symbolism while welcoming the guests.
